Joesephella is a husband/wife musical duo whose indie folk vibe resonates with audiences young and old. Based in Western Michigan, they travel throughout the midwest (and beyond) sharing palpable love and the joy of music with all they meet.
Adam Joeseph (guitar and vocals) has been a professional musician since the age of 15. He spent his young adulthood touring the country, including a stint opening for Wild Horses. He has been performing as a solo artist for over half a decade and is best known for unique medleys of stripped-down classics, underrated gems, and comedic tunes.
Ella Boleynn (vocals) was always a poet and closet songwriter. When Adam Joeseph became an ambassador/performer for the city of Gatlinburg in 2021, he spoke so highly of his wife that the producer insisted on hiring the couple as a musical duo. The next few months were a whirlwind as Ella rediscovered her voice and the two merged their styles into the cohesive whole that became Joesephella. Ella is now determined to give birth to the songs she always imagined would only live in her head.
You never know what you’ll hear when Joesephella steps onstage. From a stripped down rendition of “Hit Me Baby One More Time” to the Americana classic “There Is a Time”, the songs will be woven together with the talent and raw emotion of two storytelling musicians. Musical influences include Neil Young, John Prine, Jimi Hendrix, Leon Russell The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, and the downhome country music of Ella’s beloved grandparents.
